Celebrating World Photo Day 2016

Happy World Photo Day! We’re celebrating by featuring this video made up of photographs from ProShow fans around the world. Images were submitted all the way from Tasmania, Australia to the Grand Teton in Wyoming.

The final video was made using ProShow Producer 8 and the song ‘Solar Success’ can be found in the built-in ProShow music library.

World Photography Day originates from the invention of the Daguerrerotype, a photographic process developed by Joseph Nicèphore Nièpce and Louis Daguerre. On January 9, 1839, the French Academy of Sciences announced the daguerretype process. A few months later, on August 19, 1839, the French government announced the invention as a gift “Free to the World”.
