Celebrating World Photo Day 2015

Happy World Photo Day! We’re celebrating by featuring this video made up of photographs from ProShow fans around the world. Images were submitted all the way from Kyoto, Japan to the beaches of Florida. The final video was made using ProShow Producer 7. Like the song? The track ‘Discovery’ can be found in the built-in ProShow 7 music library.

World Photography Day originates from the invention of the Daguerreotype, a photographic process developed by Joseph Nicèphore Nièpce and Louis Daguerre. On January 9, 1839, The French Academy of Sciences announced the daguerreotype process. A few months later, on August 19, 1839, the French government announced the invention as a gift “Free to the World”.
