  1. How do I rotate a layer on my slide?
    In ProShow Gold or Producer, double-click the slide containing the layer you would like to rotate. In Slide Options, select the layer from the ‘Layer’s column on the left, followed by the ‘Adjustments’ tab located near the top of the Slide Option window. You will see the ‘Rotate’ option nested inside the ‘Editing Tools’ section on the bottom-right side of this window. You can also rotate the layer using the preview in the Slide Options window. Place your mouse pointer on one of the four corners of the layer, then click and drag the layer to rotate.
  2. Can I add a voiceover to my slideshow?
    Yes. Using either ProShow Gold or ProShow Producer, the the Slide Options dialog, select the ‘Slide Sound’ option from the ‘Background + Sound’ column located on the bottom-left of the window. Select the ‘Record’ button on the top-right to begin the recording process of your voice over for this slide.
  3. How do I upload a slideshow to YouTube from ProShow Web?
    Select the show you want to share on YouTube. Then click on the ‘Share’ button and select the YouTube button on the top-right of the share screen. Be sure to have your YouTube login credentials available and make sure your YouTube channel configured. For more information on sharing show online with ProShow Web, click here.
  4. Where can I find free effects for ProShow?
    All free effects can be found by going to and clicking on ‘Free Effects’ or you can click here.
  5. What are the differences between ProShow Gold, Producer and ProShow Web?
    ProShow slideshow software comes in three versions. ProShow Gold is our consumer version, ProShow Producer is our professional version and ProShow Web is our cloud based slideshow solution. For a detailed comparison chart on all three products, click here.
