Each year around the holidays our family likes to take a moment and think about what we’re thankful for. We take out a pen and paper and jot down what’s most important to us, then round-up photos of those people, places and things and turn them into a slideshow. It’s a great way to share our love of photography with our son and he loves watching the final video when we’re done!
Here are some simple steps for creating your own ‘Giving Thanks’ photo slideshow project.
- Make a list of what you’re thankful for. Ask the kids to help to get everyone involved!
- Get your camera out and take photos of each of the things on your list. You may already have photos that you want to use. In that case, round them up and put them in a central location.
- Using ProShow, create a photo slideshow incorporating all your photos and videos. Include photo captions to describe certain things in your show and add a song that’s meaningful to you and your family.
- Sit back and watch your show! Get everyone together and share what you’ve created. It’s a great way to look back on the year and remember all the great times.
