Happy World Photography Day! We’re celebrating by featuring this video made up of photographs from ProShow users around the world. Images were submitted all the way from the Chugach Mountains of Alaska to the beaches of Western Australia. The final video was created using ProShow Producer 5.
World Photography Day originates from the invention of the Daguerreotype, a photographic process developed by Joseph Nicèphore Nièpce and Louis Daguerre. On January 9, 1839, The French Academy of Sciences announced the daguerreotype process. A few months later, on August 19, 1839, the French government announced the invention as a gift “Free to the World”.
Thanks to everyone who submitted their photographs for this video!
