Protecting Your Images Online

We recently came across this article in Pop Photo magazine about protecting your images and what to do if you find someone using your photos without permission.

As a photographer, it’s a scary thing. Someone else using your photos for their benefit, not giving you credit and taking all the glory. Learn some steps you can take to protect your images online and what to do if you find your images being used without your permission.

When it comes to your slideshows, ProShow Producer allows you to watermark your images and copy protect the discs you burn. It also has built-in copy protection that allows you to time-out a slideshow, making it only run for a certain number of runs or for a specific amount of days.

But with more and more images going up on blogs and being posted on social networking sites like Facebook and Instagram, are we making it easier for people to copy and steal our work?
